Mike Heighway is an art director and designer with 12 years of experience, 5 in leadership roles. He specializes in design systems and typography-driven brand identities.

At this intersection, he designs and maintains comprehensive visual systems, and creates engaging, accessible web experiences for brands. He also extends these systems into print, events and motion.

For the last 19 years, Mike has studied Aikido and Iaido (the way of drawing the sword) under Okuyama Shihan. He now teaches in Denver. He also enjoys cooking and adding to his vinyl collection that consists largely of obscure electronic music.
