Ping Identity Brand Design

In 2021, I lead the design team in the redefinition of Ping Identity’s website, brand design and visual identity system.

The project began with a massive redesign of Ping Identity’s corporate website under an extraordinarily tight timeline (see the full case study here). This new visual system was then further developed and extended across all other brand properties ranging from paid social campaigns to environmental and event design to presentation and sales decks. As part of this massive effort, the design team built out our Digital Asset Management tool (Frontify) to serve as a living brand document that the entire company could leverage from.

Project Reimagine

In a massive effort to update the primary marketing asset for Ping Identity, I led the design team in  the internal effort to rethink the website. The redesign of the website served as the foundation for the updated brand design. As part of recognizing the hard work of the team, a commemorative silk-screened t-shirt was designed. (Everybody loved it!)

Ping Identity holds a number of annual events across the US and EMEA. The new visual design system relied heavily on typography and our unique library of icons and patterns to bring the multiple annual events held into one cohesive look and feel. The base design system was intended to be flexible enough to allow for specialized one-off instances like Sales Kick Off.

The new design system embraced our brand red as a means of calling out key phrases or brand moments. The iconography used in the booth design leverages from the web design system and creates continuity between the digital and physical realms.

Sales Kick Off (SKO)

The annual kick off for Ping Identity’s sales team got special treatment in 2022. Fresh off our launch of Project Reimagine, we focused our efforts in extending the visual design system into the sub-brand of this weeklong event held in Denver.

The face of Ping Identity’s awareness campaign is Terry Crews. He brings with him an electric, positive energy, and an immediate recognizability. For the CIC campaigns, everything from retouching to banner ads to web design was required. (more to come)

Asana is our tool of choice for managing the heavy load of projects our team is involved with on a daily basis. We created a universal form for marketing design requests in order to collect as much relevant information as possible at the time of submission.
